Wearable Sync

Your devices.
Your effort.
One story.

Bring your health data into your athletic history.

Connect a supported health platform through the Striiive app on your phone. Bring the readings you choose into a record you can keep building across sessions, seasons, and the devices you use.

Find your connection route

From the source to your story

How the connection works

  1. Your devices & health apps

Record readings and make them available to a supported health platform.

  2. Apple Health or Health Connect

The platform on your phone makes permitted readings available to Striiive.

  3. The Striiive mobile app

Connect the athlete’s own data source and import supported readings.

  4. Your athletic history

Review imported information in Striiive on mobile and the web.

The readings available depend on the source, the platform, and the permissions you grant.

Choose the route for your phone

Start where your
health data lives.

Set up health access in the Striiive mobile app, using the login and source that belong to the athlete.

iPhone

Apple Health

Bring in supported readings available in the Health app, including those recorded by compatible devices and connected apps.

  1. Sign in to Striiive on your iPhone.
  2. Open Settings → Connected Devices and choose Apple Health.
  3. Follow the connection flow and review the requested permissions and sources.

Supported Android phones

Health Connect

Bring in supported records that your device and connected apps make available through Health Connect.

  1. Sign in to Striiive on your Android phone.
  2. Open Settings → Connected Devices and choose Health Connect.
  3. Review data access and complete the connection in the app.

Supported reading types

Bring in the detail
your source provides.

Supported types include the readings listed here. Availability varies by device, connected app, platform, and permission. A connection does not mean every type will have data.

Put the readings in perspective
  • Resting heart rate
  • Heart-rate variability
  • VO₂ max
  • Sleep duration & available stages
  • Steps
  • Height & weight

Connecting a health platform can also bring in supported historical readings that are available to the app. The range depends on the platform’s available data and access.

If you already have an Apple Health export, you can upload that file through the web app’s import tools. Select the correct athlete, review the import preview, and confirm before the data is added.

Importing a file adds history from that export. Ongoing health-platform access is set up separately on the phone.

When a reading is missing

A connection is a starting point.
Keep the source in view.

Three useful checks help you understand what is arriving in your athletic history.

  1. 01

    Check the original source.

Confirm the reading is present in Apple Health or Health Connect. Striiive can only import supported data the platform makes available.

  2. 02

    Review the permissions.

Check that Striiive has access to the data types you want to bring in. A connection can be active while some types remain unavailable.

  3. 03

    Review connection status.

Connected Devices shows the recorded last-sync time and any connection status information. If a reading is missing, start there and check the app on your phone.

Your source. Your permissions.

Connect your data.
Keep sharing deliberate.

Health-platform permissions control which readings Striiive can access. Coach permissions and passport sharing are separate decisions about who can see information once it is in Striiive.

Adult athletes make their own sharing choices. Guardians manage biometric sharing for young athletes. A club or coach does not receive automatic access just because a device is connected.

A few practical questions

Get connected
with a clearer picture.

Does Striiive connect directly to every wearable brand?

The current connection routes are Apple Health and Health Connect through the Striiive mobile app. Whether a particular wearable’s readings reach Striiive depends on what its companion app shares with that platform, the supported data types, and your permissions.

Can I connect health data from my laptop?

Live health-platform access is set up through the Striiive app on your phone. The web app can show connection status and imported data, and it also supports uploading an Apple Health export file.

Can a parent sync their phone’s health data into a child’s profile?

A guardian view does not connect the parent’s phone health data to the child. The athlete’s own login and data source need the correct setup. If you need help with a young athlete’s connection, contact our team before importing a file or choosing a source.

Talk to the team
Will every new reading appear immediately?

Readings become available after the source records them, the health platform makes them accessible, and Striiive completes a sync. Timing depends on the platform, permissions, and app activity. Check the recorded last-sync time when reviewing freshness.

What happens if I disconnect a source?

Disconnecting stops new data from syncing through that connection until you reconnect. Your existing Striiive history is kept. You can review connections in Connected Devices and manage health permissions on your phone.

Can I use Striiive without a wearable?

Yes. You can start by logging training and adding supported measurements manually. Connect a health platform later if you want to bring in available device readings.
