An example of the decisions you manage. No real athlete data is shown.

A coach’s access starts with your approval.

See what you can share

A clear starting point

You choose who’s
in their corner.

Set up their profile, make each sharing decision, and come back whenever things change.

  1. 01

    Create their athlete profile.

Start with your own Striiive account and add your child as an athlete you manage.

  2. 02

    Choose who gets access.

Review coach requests, choose the data each coach can see, and invite a second guardian if you want to share the responsibility.

  3. 03

Stay in control as they grow.

Review permissions, remove a coach’s access, and check active passport shares as teams and seasons change.

Coach permissions

The right support.
The access you choose.

Different people need different information. Choose a level for each coach, add an expiry date if you wish, and revoke access when it is no longer needed.

01

Fitness

Steps, training minutes, sleep, weight and height.

02

Medical

Everything in Fitness, plus heart rate, HRV and VO2 max.

03

Full access

Everything in Medical (currently the same data).

These are coach access levels. Passport sharing links have their own sharing choices.

Beyond permissions

Less admin.
More being there.

A few practical tools to help you support the athlete, and keep the bigger picture in view.

Bring another guardian in.

Invite a second guardian by email to share access to your athlete’s data. Review pending invitations and cancel one before it is accepted.

Share a passport with purpose.

Create a passport link for a coach or scout and choose what it shows. Review active shares, view counts, and expiry dates in Parent Controls.

Keep a copy of their progress.

Download your athlete’s biometric history as a CSV file. Keep a personal record of the work they have put in, season after season.

Good questions

A little clarity
goes a long way.

Want to understand how we handle personal data? Read our Privacy Policy

Can a coach see my child’s health data automatically?

A coach needs your approval to see your child’s biometric data. You can approve or decline a coach’s request, choose the access level when you approve it, and revoke access later.

Does joining a club give every member of staff access?

Your child’s club can list them in its squads. Club staff can see biometric data only when you approve their access, just like any other coach.

What if we change coaches or clubs?

You can revoke the previous coach’s access in Parent Controls and approve a new coach’s request when you are ready. Your athlete’s history stays with their Striiive profile.

Can another parent or guardian help manage the account?

Yes. You can invite a second guardian by email. They will need to accept the invitation to get access. Pending invitations can be reviewed and cancelled in Parent Controls.

Where do I manage passport links and notifications?

Parent Controls shows active passport shares, their view counts, and any expiry dates. Create or revoke sharing links from your athlete’s Passport page. Notification preferences are available from your profile’s notification settings.
